Eerie Review (Netflix): Really wanting to watch something exciting in the horror genre, I tried Filipino drama-crime horror film Eerie on Netflix recently. The 100-min-film talks about the Ang Babae Allergic Sa Wifi (2018) Ang Babaeng Allergic Sa Wifi was a standout when it was shown during the Pista ng Pelikulang Pinoy in 2018 and is arguably one of Sue Ramirez's best movie roles to date. Sue Ramirez plays Norma, a young woman who is obsessed with social media. One day, she is diagnosed with electromagnetic hypersensitivity The movie is a film version of the popular horror anthology televised by Regal Entertainment in the '80s under the same name. "Regal Shocker" features different subgenres of horror in its episodes such as supernatural, psychological, dark fantasy and horror-comedy, among others. As the cast of the famed Netflix series reacts to Regal Shocker's "Aparador," Filipinos express their Filipino limited series Rabid updates horror archetypes for the pandemic age. Director Erik Matti and screenwriting partner Michiko Yamamoto create a mix of horror, comedy and social commentary.
